The Sidewinder is Ultimate Guard's side-opening deck box, and this version features the Thrór card, the object that sets the entire plot of The Hobbit in motion: the parchment Gandalf gives to Thorin, bearing the moon runes that reveal the hidden door to Erebor.

The advertised capacity is 100 cards with double sleeves in Ultimate Guard sleeves, enough to cover a fully sleeved Commander deck. With single sleeves, the box holds 120 cards, and with no sleeves at all, 210. These three figures are important when making your choice: a Commander player who double-sleeves is right at the limit, while a Standard or Pokémon player has plenty of room for their deck and sideboard.
