Origins: The first Riftbound set in French
Origins is the French version of the first set for the Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game, published by Riot Games and its physical publishing partner UVS Games. The French release is scheduled for May 29, 2026, making French the third official language of the game after Chinese and English. Origins is the foundational set of Riftbound, already released in English in Fall 2025 and now available to French-speaking players with an accelerated roadmap to catch up with subsequent expansions by the end of 2026.
An official League of Legends TCG published by Riot Games
Riftbound is the first official physical trading card game in the League of Legends universe. The game adopts the conventions of Riot Games' MOBAs: gameplay realms, iconic champions, and 1v1 or multiplayer combat mechanics for up to 4 players in teams. Riftbound distinguishes itself from other TCGs with its realm structure (6 in total: Fury, Calm, Body, Mind, Chaos, Order) which shapes deck building and champion identities. Each champion belongs to two complementary realms that define their playstyle.
322 cards: 298 main cards, 12 Overnumbered cards, 12 Signed cards
The Origins set contains 322 collectible cards in total: 298 main set cards, 12 Overnumbered cards (numbered beyond the main set), and 12 Signed cards (exclusive artistic signature). The set features original artwork by some of the most influential artists in League of Legends' visual history, making it both a competitive game item and an art-book-style collector's item.
The Origins Booster: 14 Cards and Detailed Rarity Structure
The Origins Booster contains 14 cards with a rarity structure announced by UVS Games: 7 common cards, 3 uncommon cards, 2 foil rare or higher, 1 foil card of any rarity, and 1 token. The guaranteed presence of 2 foil rare or better cards per booster is a key element of the Riftbound draft. Each display of 24 boosters contains an average of 6 epic rarity cards and more than 2 cards with special alternate art, providing consistent opening value.
Three Pre-Constructed Champion Decks: Jinx, Viktor, and Lee Sin
Origins comes with three pre-constructed Champion decks that serve as entry points to the game:
The Jinx Deck (Fury/Chaos) offers an aggressive and explosive playstyle, built around offensive units and high-impact spells, reflecting the character of Aatreia's champion.
The Viktor Deck (Mind/Order) takes a tactical and progressive approach, focused on the synergy of technology and control, and the value of spells over the course of the game.
The Lee Sin Deck (Body/Calm) balances raw power with strategic defense, featuring buffs to units and defensive spells to protect them.
Each deck consists of 56 ready-to-play cards, along with rare cards, a paper playmat, a customization booster pack, and a deck-building guide.
French: Riftbound's Third Official Language
With the release of Origins in French on May 29, 2026, French becomes the third official language of Riftbound after Chinese and English. Riot Games and UVS Games are announcing an accelerated roadmap for subsequent French expansions, aiming to align French-language releases with the global release schedule by October 2026. Origins is therefore both a foundational set for French-speaking players and the start of a rapid release schedule to catch up with the market.
Available Products
The Origins FR range is available in several formats. The individual booster (14 cards) is the entry-level format for discovering the expansion. The 8-booster pack is an intermediate format for opening in bulk. The 24-booster display is the standard format for extensive set coverage and organizing opening sessions. The 6-display case is the high-volume format for shops and collectors. On the Champion side, the three preconstructed decks—Jinx, Viktor, and Lee Sin—are available individually, and the 3-Deck Champion Bundle includes all three decks in a single order to start a complete multiplayer game.
