Official Bandai One Piece Card Game Accessories
Since the launch of the One Piece Card Game in 2022, Bandai has developed a range of official One Piece licensed accessories: sleeves, playmats, deck boxes, and storage boxes, generally released alongside major expansions. These accessories follow the same editorial logic as the cards: each product features an iconic character from the manga with exclusive artwork, often created by Bandai's TCG illustrators. Once the initial production run is over, these accessories are not reprinted and become collector's items themselves, prized by One Piece fans.
Bandai One Piece Sleeves: Specifications
The official sleeves published by Bandai have four key features to know. The standard 63 × 88 mm format is compatible with all TCG cards in the international format (One Piece, Magic, Pokémon, Lorcana, Flesh and Blood, Digimon). The 70-sleeve pack is a Bandai-specific format, intermediate between the 60-sleeve pack (Dragon Shield) and the 100-sleeve pack (Ultra Pro). A complete One Piece deck (1 Leader + 50 cards + any DON!!) fits easily into a single pack. The full-face illustration prints the character artwork continuously across the entire back. The polypropylene material belongs to the same family as Ultra Pro sleeves, archival-safe and neutral for long-term preservation.
Available Thematic Characters
Bandai One Piece sleeves are released in waves, featuring a variety of characters that cover the entire One Piece universe. The Gecko Moria sleeves feature the former Warlord from the Thriller Bark arc. The Sabo sleeves pay homage to Luffy and Ace's sworn brother, a member of the Revolutionary Army. Other waves cover Luffy, Zoro, Ace, Law, Kid, and Shanks, depending on the reprint. Each wave is produced in limited quantities, aligned with a specific TCG expansion. Luffy Gear 5 sleeves from previous waves have already become difficult to find in sealed packs from official retailers.
Why choose official Bandai sleeves over generic ones?
There are three concrete reasons for choosing official sleeves. Visual consistency with your deck: playing a Luffy deck with Luffy sleeves creates a thematic unity impossible to achieve with generic sleeves. Heritage Value: Official sleeves, now out of print, are gradually increasing in value among One Piece collectors, especially the iconic Leader Waves. Equivalent Protection: From a purely technical standpoint, Bandai sleeves offer comparable protection to Ultra Pro or Dragon Shield sleeves, with archival-safe polypropylene material and standard TCG wear resistance.
Multi-TCG Compatibility
The 63 × 88 mm format of Bandai sleeves is the international standard for trading cards. The same sleeves work for your Magic: The Gathering (MTG), Pokémon TCG (French/English versions), Lorcana (Ravensburger), Flesh and Blood, and Digimon Card Game (also published by Bandai) decks, all in the same standard format. The only incompatible games are those in the "small" 59 × 86 mm format (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiss Schwarz, and some Japanese TCGs), for which you need to use sleeves specifically designed for the small format.
