The Mega-Tin has been Konami's annual tradition since the mid-2010s: a reusable metal tin containing three exclusive Mega-Packs of reprinted cards in new rarities, three sealed booster packs from recent sets, and two Ultra Rare promos. This category includes the 2025 Mega-Tin in both single and cardboard bundle versions, the Blue-Eyes-focused Kaiba Legendary Collection, the vintage Gold Series 4, and several special boxes.
Boxes and Mega Tin
The Mega-Tin, an annual must-have for duelists for the past ten years
The Mega-Tin (also called Mega-Pack Tin in its recent editions) is a flagship Konami product released annually since the mid-2010s. It's a reusable metal tin containing an exclusive combination of booster packs and promo cards that can't be found anywhere else. The annual release is supported by a structured marketing campaign, with cover cards featuring iconic monsters of the year (Red-Eyes, Blue-Eyes, Dark Magician, Stardust Dragon, Elemental HERO, depending on the edition). Older tins remain sought after by collectors for their metal packaging, regardless of the cards inside.
Contents of a Modern Mega-Tin
A standard Yu-Gi-Oh! Mega-Tin contains three exclusive Mega-Packs (18-card booster packs reprinting recent staples in new rarities), three sealed booster packs from sets released during the year, and two Ultra Rare promo cards with a holographic finish. The Mega-Packs are the true value of the product: they contain the most competitively played cards from the past year in Prismatic Secret Rare or Quarter Century Secret Rare rarities that were not available in the original booster packs. This is the best way for a competitive player to get their hands on the year's staples in enhanced versions without resorting to the secondary market.
The Mega-Pack Bundle: 12-unit cardboard box
Our catalog features the 2025 Mega-Pack Bundle in a 12-unit cardboard box, a distributor-sized format that combines twelve Mega-Packs in a single package. This format is ideal for collectors hunting for rare Prismatic Secret Rares from the set, or for shops that resell Mega-Packs individually to their players. With twelve Mega-Packs opened, the probability of drawing a higher-rarity card from a sought-after staple becomes statistically significant, whereas a single Mega-Pack remains essentially random.
Kaiba Legendary Collection and the Duelists Box Series
The Legendary Collection is a Konami line dedicated to iconic characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Classic anime. The Kaiba Legendary Collection (LCKC) brings together iconic Seto Kaiba cards: Blue-Eyes White Dragon in several alternate-art versions, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and Spell and Trap cards associated with his signature deck. The boxed set includes several special booster packs and an illustrated guide to the character's decks throughout the anime's various seasons. Other Legendary Collections exist for Yugi, Joey, Marik, and other major duelists from the original series.
Gold Series: The Vintage Collector's Line
The Gold Series is a Konami line dedicated to reprinting historical staple cards in Gold Rare versions, a special rarity featuring gold foil on the card name and attribute. Gold Series 4: Pyramids Edition (GLD4-EN) is the fourth iteration of the series, released in 2011 and now a rare vintage collector's item, hard to find sealed. Older Gold Series editions are documented in collector communities for their heritage value and the unique print quality associated with this rarity.
Speed Duel: an alternative format with simplified rules
Speed Duel is an official Konami alternative format introduced in 2018, featuring simplified rules: decks of 20 to 30 cards, Skill cards dedicated to the player character, and shorter games. The Speed Duel: Duel Academy (SGX1) box set, available in our catalog in German, includes several ready-to-play Speed Duel decks based on characters from the GX anime, ideal for quick learning or short games in stores.
