The fourth major expansion in the Pokémon Trading Card Game's Mega Evolution series, Chaos Rising (series code ME04), expands upon the world of Pokémon Legends: Z-A and introduces five brand-new Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex, including Mega Greninja-ex, Mega Florges-ex, and Mega Kravitz-ex. The set contains over 120 cards in total, including 5 Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex, 5 regular Pokémon-ex, 11 Art Rares, 18 Ultra Rares, and 6 Special Art Rares. Chaos Rising: The Direct Sequel to Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Chaos Rising is the fourth main expansion in the Mega Evolution series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on May 22, 2026, by The Pokémon Company simultaneously worldwide. The set is the second main installment directly connected to the world of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A video game, which reintroduced the Mega Evolution mechanic to the heart of the Pokémon ecosystem. The Chaos Rising title reflects the rise of wild Mega Evolutions and the increasing complexity of the conflict, featuring a cast of new Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex that extend the visual identity established by the ME01, ME02, and ME03 expansions.

The Five Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex in the Set
Chaos Rising introduces five new Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex, which are the most powerful and sought-after cards in the set. Mega Greninja-ex, a variation of the Kalos Ninja Pokémon, embodies the expansion's identity and boasts a highly coveted Mega Hyper Rare variant, as well as a Special Illustration Rare version that is one of the set's major chase cards.
