Learn more about the expansion:

Chaos Rising: The Direct Sequel to Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Chaos Rising is the fourth main expansion in the Mega Evolution series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on May 22, 2026, by The Pokémon Company simultaneously worldwide. The set is the second main installment directly connected to the world of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A video game, which reintroduced the Mega Evolution mechanic to the heart of the Pokémon ecosystem. The Chaos Rising title reflects the rise of wild Mega Evolutions and the increasing complexity of the conflict, featuring a cast of new Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex that extend the visual identity established by the ME01, ME02, and ME03 expansions.

The Five Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex in the Set
Chaos Rising introduces five new Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex, which are the most powerful and sought-after cards in the set. Mega Greninja-ex, a variation of the Kalos Ninja Pokémon, embodies the expansion's identity and boasts a highly coveted Mega Hyper Rare variant, as well as a Special Illustration Rare version that is one of the set's major chase cards. Mega Florges-ex brings the delicate Fairy-type Mega Evolution, while Mega Kravelech-ex completes the core trio with a Water/Dragon-type Mega Evolution. Two more Mega Evolutions round out the central quintet, along with five classic Pokémon-ex that bolster competitive play options.

Rarity Distribution: Rare Artwork, Ultra Rare Artwork, and Special Rare Artwork
The set features the standard rarity structure of the Mega Evolution era. Eleven Rare Artwork Pokémon cards offer the full-page illustrations most sought after by collectors. Eighteen Ultra Rare Pokémon and Trainer cards include the most desirable premium variants in competitive play. Six Special Rare Artwork Pokémon and Supporter cards are the set's chase cards, with dedicated artwork that breaks away from the classic Pokémon card format. Over 20 Trainer cards round out the ecosystem and enhance multi-deck strategies.

The Elite Trainer Box Fennekin Promo Card
The Chaos Rising Elite Trainer Box includes a full-art shiny Fennekin promo card, exclusive to this product. Fennekin is the Fire-type starter Pokémon introduced in Pokémon X and Y and directly associated with the Kalos region, echoing the identity of the set based on Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The box also includes 9 Chaos Rising booster packs and all the accessories of a Pokémon Elite Trainer Box: themed card sleeves, Energy cards, a player's guide, damage counter dice, a competition-legal coin-flip die, and a code card for Pokémon TCG Live.

Four Collector Booster Art: The Chaos Rising Art Set Chaos Rising features four different booster pack illustrations, each showcasing a key Mega Evolution from the set. The four-art set includes one copy of each variant for collectors who want to complete an expansion's visual series. Each sleeve is sealed with its standard 10-card booster pack, making it both a visually appealing collectible and a fun opening format.

The Charmeleon Tripack: An Illustrated Themed Blister Pack
The Charmeleon Tripack Chaos Rising is a blister pack containing three booster packs featuring artwork of Charmander's intermediate evolution. Unlike standard blister packs with random artwork, this version is guaranteed to feature Charmeleon artwork, making it a distinctive collector's item for fans of Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard. The three-booster pack format is the accessible entry point for experiencing the expansion.
