Radiance: the fifth set of Riftbound is released on the same day in French, English, and Chinese.
Radiance is the fifth set for Riftbound , Riot Games' League of Legends collectible card game, published by UVS Games. It will be released on October 23, 2026, in French, English, and Simplified Chinese. This is the first time a Riftbound set has been released on the same day in all three languages: Vendetta , the previous set, was released in English on July 31, 2026, and will only arrive in French on October 23. Following the rivalries of Vendetta, Radiance takes music and performance as its theme. Riot presents it as the performance set, the one where players perform at their peak. Two bands from the League of Legends universe are featured: K/DA and HEARTSTEEL . This is the last Riftbound set planned for 2026.
The new legends of Radiance
The set adds nine Legends, each with an extra version. Ekko (The Boy Who Shattered Time), in Fury and Mind, brings an expensive unit into play early, but dies at the end of the turn. Seraphina (Dreaming Songstress, Starry-Eyed Songstress) and Evelynn (Sadistic Demon, Agony's Embrace) lead the set's two Confrontation Decks. Orianna (Lady of Clockwork), in Calm and Mind, transforms her items into units and assembles an army of machines and treasures. Ziggs places Bombs on the battlefield. Also included are Jarvan IV (Exemplar of Demacia), K'Sante (Pride of Nazumah), and Mordekaiser (Iron Revenant). Outside of Legends, Neeko (Blending In) is the first non-Domain Champion unit in Riftbound: she fits into any deck. Ekko and Seraphina share the cover of the display, along with Ziggs and Jarvan IV.
Deployment, Unveiling, and Disarming: The Mechanics of Radiance
Radiance introduces three keywords, translated into French by Riot. Deploy allows you to play an Equipment card directly onto a battlefield, where it provides an advantage as long as it remains there. If an opponent occupies that battlefield, the Equipment card is eliminated. Show Off unlocks an additional effect when you reveal an eligible card from your hand or board, at the cost of informing your opponent. Disarm reduces the Might of an enemy unit when that unit attacks, and this effect stacks like Assault. Kai'Sa, Rebel, is one of the cards built around this keyword. The set also adds Equipment Units , which expand upon Vendetta's Equipment Units like the Makeshift Porobot, and a new creation, the Bomb : when a Bomb is destroyed, it damages enemy units and triggers all other Bombs.
The most sought-after cards in the set
The rarest card is Packed Amphitheater , an ultimate rare battleground. It's the second ultimate rare in Riftbound after Baron Nashor from Unleashed , and the first battleground featured in Showcase. Riot advertises it in approximately 0.025% of booster packs , or one in 4,000, with no guarantee per display or box, and presents it as significantly harder to obtain than Baron Nashor. Next are the signed overnumbered cards : all nine Legends have an overnumbered version, which also exists with the artist's signature. In Vendetta, the signed Legends have reached the highest prices. The Heartsteel overnumbered cards give the group a fashion makeover: K'Sante (Courageous), Aphelios (Exalted), Ezreal (Dashing), Yone (Blademaster), Kayn (Unleashed), and Sett (Kingpin) are also available signed. The special K/DA cards , numbered SP1 through SP5, feature Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai'Sa, and Seraphina, in the style of the Crystal Rose cards from Vendetta. The alternate-art runes incorporate the musical theme.
167 cards and 66 Showcase cards: the set structure
Radiance has 167 cards in its core set and 66 Showcase cards . Additional cards are numbered beyond 167: those in Heartsteel range from 178 to 183. This is why UVS Games advertises "over 180 cards." Each 14-card booster pack contains 7 commons , 3 uncommons , 1 foil card (common to epic), 1 rare or epic , 1 slot that can contain a rare, epic, alternate art, special alternate art, additional card, or the ultimate rare, and 1 creation or rune , sometimes with alternate art. Special alternate art appears roughly as frequently as regular alternate art.
Confrontation and Vault Decks
The Showdown Decks box set pits Seraphine against Evelynn: two ready-to-play 56-card decks, two Radiance booster packs, two paper playmats, storage boxes, and a rules and deck-building guide. This is the second box set of its kind after Shen vs. Zed in Vendetta. The Vault box set returns with a storage box, six Radiance booster packs, holographic creations, and a set of 36 runes.
Previews and events
Pre-Rift events will take place in stores from October 16th to 22nd, 2026. Each player will receive 5 Radiance booster packs and a preconstructed 15-card deck featuring one of the nine legends. Registered players will also receive the Heimerdinger, Professor of the Academy promo card while supplies last.
