VSTAR Pokémon evolve from VSTAR Pokémon. They will play a major role in the Pokémon TCG metagame. Each VSTAR Pokémon has a VSTAR Power (an Ability or attack) with a powerful effect that can turn a game around. Players can only use one VSTAR Power per game, and when they have used it, they flip their VSTAR marker to indicate it. In addition to their VSTAR Powers, VSTAR Pokémon have high HP and powerful attacks, and knocking them out grants two Prize cards. Trainers will be delighted to discover Arceus VSTAR, Charizard VSTAR, Shaymin VSTAR, and Flitted VSTAR in Sword & Shield—Bright Stars.
