READING A HELLBREAK CARD
Each card displays the same indicators:

- Cost: the blood required to play it, in the top left corner
- Loyalty: the aspect symbols required in your Vault
- Combat: the damage dealt on attack or defense
- Health: the damage it takes before being killed
- Resource Bar: what the card provides each round if it is in the Vault
- Scheming Bar: the effects resolved from left to right when the character schemes
- Traits: descriptive words like Undead or Vampire, without their own rules
- Collection Data: set code (DOT), rarity number, and letter
Example: Count Alucard costs 9 blood, requires three Cursed symbols, has 4 in combat and 7 in health, enters play Fearsome, and costs 2 less when you have the first move. It has the DOT number 044 and the illustration by Terry Wolfinger.

THE COIN AND TOKENS
The initiative challenge coin designates the player who has the initiative. The tokens serve as Blood, Malice, and Damage counters.
