Display Beta Welcome to Night City - 36 Boosters - EN - Cyberpunk TCG - WeirdCo

The Beta display is the largest Cyberpunk TCG package and the only one to include a box topper. Cards from this display feature the Beta symbol, a marker printed below the RAM icon in the upper right corner, and a β prefix in their collection number. WeirdCo has stated explicitly that no set will be reprinted in the same configuration: this 36-booster format will not return, and it is only available in English.

Seventy-two Rare or better slots per box. This is enough to cover most of the 32 rares in the set and target the 12 Epic Rares, including Adam Smasher: Ender of Legends illustrated by Michał Dziekan, The Relic: Experimental Biochip, and Towerfall. Above these are the 4 Secret Rares: Johnny Silverhand: Rocking Renegade, Panam Palmer: Strength Through Family, Sasha Yakovleva: Won't Let You Down, and Judy Álvarez: Nothing to Doubt. Two of them are illustrated by Ilya Kuvshinov, the character designer for Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.

The real differentiator of the Beta edition remains the 31 Iconic Rares. These are alternate artworks numbered β141 to β171: 18 Legends by Pandart Studio, 9 cards of various types by artists including Toni Infante and Dardo Studios, and 4 Secret Iconic Rares by Divebound Studio. The Retail version will have its own Iconic Rares with different artwork. Therefore, a Beta Iconic Rare card has no equivalent elsewhere.

The box topper features one of the six Legends from the starter decks with alternate artwork: Yorinobu Arasaka: Embracing Destruction, Viktor Vektor: Sit Down and Relax, Goro Takemura: Hands Unclean, Saburo Arasaka: Stubborn Patriarch, Jackie Welles: Pour One Out For Me, or V: Corporate Exile. The three Arasaka cards form a triptych by Vincenzo Riccardi, whose illustrations, placed side by side, create a single image. The three mercenary cards are by Ito of Kirby's Comic Art.

As for gameplay, one box provides ample material to build several legal Constructed decks, each containing 40 to 50 cards plus three Legends with unique names, with a maximum of three copies of each card. It also covers the needs of a home-sealed deck: the official format requires six booster packs and three Legends per player.
