The 36-Booster Display: Darkest Night Mega Evolution (ME05) is the standard format for the fifth main expansion in the Pokémon Trading Card Game's Mega Evolution series, released on July 17, 2026. The display contains 36 Darkest Night booster packs in their original sealed packaging, for a total of 360 cards drawn from the main set. It's the perfect format for achieving broad coverage of the expansion, stocking a shop, hosting a group opening session, or keeping the sealed display as a long-term collector's item. Each booster pack offers a chance to open one of the set's six featured Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex: Mega Darkrai-ex, Mega Zeraora-ex, Mega Chandelure-ex, Mega Excadrill-ex, or the two other complementary Mega Evolutions. The expansion offers a rich rarity structure with 11 rare art Pokémon cards, 18 ultra-rare Pokémon and Trainer cards, and 6 rare special art Pokémon and Supporter cards that make up the set's chase cards. With a full display, the increased number of booster packs multiplies the chances of completing the Mega Evolutions ex and drawing multiple rare special art cards.
