The English Collector's Edition has the same guaranteed contents as its French counterpart, with 12 booster packs of 15 cards each, 4 rare or mythic Booster Fun cards per pack, and one Art Card or premium token per booster. However, it's not purchased for the same reasons.

English is the standard language for the Magic secondary market. TCGplayer ratings, PSA and BGS player populations, and international trade all rely on English names. A card graded in English sells on a wider market than its French equivalent, and the difference is even more pronounced for high-end versions: Fracture Foil Japan Showcase, Facet Foil of the 13 Shattered Mirror, and borderless Echo Pairs by Aleksi Briclot.

This argument is particularly relevant for this expansion. The serialized Bloodline Recollector, limited to approximately 500 copies and signed by Mark Poole, exists only in English: it appears in Collector's Editions in all languages, but is always printed in English. Opening an English display case prevents you from ending up with a single English piece in the middle of a French collection.
