The fourth and final main expansion of Series 13, Burning Territory, brings 100 cards divided between 14 Ultra Rares and 10 Secret Rares. The set introduces the Clown Clan archetype, marks the first official support for Fairy Tail, and brings back Jack Atlas with eight new Red Dragon Archfiend cards. French release scheduled for May 7, 2026.
Each display contains 24 booster packs of 9 cards each, enough to build almost the entire set by opening a single box. Players who pre-order are primarily focused on three aspects of Burning Territory.
The first is Clown Clan, the set's new archetype. The strategy revolves around Tribute Summoning, a mechanic rarely seen in the modern meta. Clown Clan Whiteface is the centerpiece: when Tribute Summoned, it draws a number of cards equal to the number of monsters Tributed, or neutralizes that many opposing effects. Combined with Clown Clan Flair and the Spells Rehearsal and Matinee, the deck can chain together turns that empty the opponent's hand before the first battle even begins.
The second aspect is the return of Jack Atlas. Konami has revealed eight new Red Dragon Archfiend cards, including Darkness Resonator, which allows you to chain two Normal Summons in the same turn; Power Vice Dragon, which searches for a Resonator from the Deck; and Crimson Blade Dragon, treated as Crimson Blader and capable of returning a Level 8 or higher monster from the Deck or Graveyard. The Rokket support and Resonators gain more consistency, bringing Synchro strategies back into the amateur rankings.
The third focus is the first-ever support for Fairy Tail. These Level 4 Magicians have been waiting since The Dark Illusion in 2016. The set adds a new Fairy Tail that searches for a Spell or Trap Card from the archetype, plus an Equip Spell that unlocks Fusion Summoning for Rella, Snow, and Sleeper.
On the chase side, Fidraulis Harmonia (Secret Rare) and Clown Clan Whiteface are attracting attention on the secondary market. Starlight Rares (approximately one card per 120 boxes) and competitive-grade Secret Rares make up the rest of the box's value.
Anna Kozuki, the mechanical duelist from ARC-V, also receives her share of Psychic Machines. The Borrel, Synchron, Predaplant, Starving Venom, and Elemental HERO archetypes receive additions, notably the new Predap cluster around Baalthea, Lilizard, and Longinephila on the Yuri side.
The box is primarily aimed at players upgrading a Red Dragon Archfiend or Predaplant deck, and collectors hunting for BLD1 Secret Rares. To build a Clown Clan or Fairy Tail deck from scratch, a single box is almost enough to create a Core Deck.
