The Hobbit 2 Scene Boxes bundle combines both scenic variants of the set into a single purchase, allowing you to assemble both complete panoramic scenes: one from the treasures of Erebor and the other from the Shire. The Treasures of Smaug depicts Bilbo discovering the vastness of Erebor's hoard while the dragon Smaug slumbers on his gold inside the Lonely Mountain. Crack the Plates illustrates the novel's opening scene, when Gandalf and the thirteen dwarves led by Thorin arrive at Bag End and rearrange Bilbo's tableware, much to his dismay. Together, the two boxes offer a complete narrative tableau of iconic moments from J.R.R. Tolkien's foundational tale.

Each of the two boxes contains the same contents: 6 traditional foil borderless cards whose illustrations fit together to create a complete panoramic scene, 6 oversized art cards, each featuring an enlarged illustration, 3 The Hobbit Play Boosters (14 Magic cards each), and a paper display easel to showcase the scene. In total, the set includes 12 traditional foil scene cards and 6 additional Play Boosters to open, making it a complete collector's item and a substantial addition to the game for Tolkien fans.
