Three Collector Boosters is the format that gives meaning to an appearance rate. Each pack guarantees four Booster Fun cards of rare or mythic rarity: across three boosters, twelve premium slots are divided between borderless echo pairs, 13 Shattered Mirror cards, 23 Braintwister cards, and 10 Japan Showcase cards. Enough to include several different treatments, but not enough to claim to cover the entire range.
The set targets two types of collectors. The collector who hunts for a specific treatment, such as the Japan Showcase of The Theorist, Jace Beleren illustrated by Yukie Tajima, or a borderless echo pair by Aleksi Briclot whose two illustrations extend each other, and who prefers to print multiple copies rather than buy a complete display. And the opener who tries to get their hands on Bloodline Recollector, serialized in approximately 500 copies and designed by Mark Poole, without committing to the budget for a 12-pack.
For a larger volume, the 12-pack Fractured Reality Collector Booster display is the ideal format. The Fractured Reality Play Boosters cover the gameplay and drafting aspects of the expansion.
