The Prime 2-Player Playmat is the largest size in Gamegenic's playmat range: 700 × 700 mm, compared to 610 × 350 mm for a single-player mat. It's designed for a two-player table, not a single player, which changes how it's used. Instead of two separate mats placed edge to edge, with the seam where cards can catch on the slightest movement, you get a single, flat surface from the beginning to the end of the game.

This width is particularly useful in two-player Commander, a format where the battlefield quickly expands: creatures, enchantments, tokens, marker dice, commander counter. It's also useful in Constructed and Sealed, as soon as the game gets going and each player needs space around their library and graveyard.

The construction follows Gamegenic's standard Prime design. The 2 mm natural rubber base cushions card placement and protects against a dirty or rough tabletop. The surface is an ultra-thin fabric on which cards glide smoothly, even double-sleeved ones. The seams are flat all around: this detail prevents a card sleeve from getting caught in the raised edge when you pick up your hand near the edge. The non-slip backing keeps the mat in place, even when two players pull on it from opposite directions.
