The Collector Booster packs everything Fractured Reality has to offer collectors. Its official contents include: 4 traditional premium commons, 2 traditional premium uncommons, 3 traditional premium echo pair uncommons, 1 traditional premium basic land, 1 traditional premium rare or mythic, 1 non-premium rare or mythic Booster Fun card from FRA or FRC, 2 other non-premium rare or mythic Booster Fun cards, 1 premium rare or mythic Booster Fun card, and 1 double-sided traditional premium art card or token.
Four treatments are only found here, or primarily here. The Japan Showcase features 10 cards, only in foil or Fracture Foil and only in Collector Boosters: The Theorist, Jace Beleren, is signed by Yukie Tajima. The Facet Foil finish of the 13 Shattered Mirror cards, which features the shattered mirror motif, is also exclusive to the Collector's Edition. Borderless Echo pairs circulate in this edition with panoramic artwork, including the planeswalker cycle by Aleksi Briclot. The 23 cards of the Braintwister series are released as premium cards.
The most sought-after card in the set is Bloodline Recollector, a 2/2 Vampire Sorcerer creature for {1}{B}. Its face-out, Ancestral Craving, reinterprets the historic Ancestral Recall in black. Its headline serialized version, printed in approximately 500 copies with double rainbow foil on a full-art throwback border, is signed by Mark Poole, the illustrator of Ancestral Recall on Alpha in 1993. It appears only in Collector Boosters, at a rate of less than 1%, and remains printed in English regardless of the language of the opened booster.
