Demon Slayer's Best-Selling Arc
The Infinity Train, or Mugen Train, is the turning point of the series. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko board a train where two hundred passengers vanish, put to sleep by an illusion woven by Enmu, Lower Moon One. The arc culminates in a confrontation between Kyojuro Rengoku and Akaza, Upper Moon Three, and an outcome the series had never dared to explore before.
The Arc's Market Impact
The film based on this arc, released in 2020, held the all-time Japanese box office record for five years, until Infinity Castle surpassed it in 2025. Rengoku became the most sought-after character in the entire franchise on the card market, surpassing Tanjiro. Mugen Train cards have never experienced a dip in demand since their initial release.
