Mickey and his gang in real-life settings
Mickey in Real Life follows the approach that gives the series its name: taking Mickey Mouse and his friends out of the cartoon and integrating them into photographed environments. Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto accompany the character throughout the entire series.

Mickey at Card Fun
Mickey is the most frequently reissued character in the Disney range at Card Fun, which has a two-way effect on the secondary market: demand remains strong, but successive printings limit the rarity of the base cards. It's the higher-tier cards and the specific treatments for each series, such as the photographic integration shown here, that make the difference in value between collections.

214 cards, 14 tiers
SR: 42 cards
SSR: 36 cards
STR, UR, EP, and EX: 16 cards each
SP: 14 cards
FR and SNP: 12 cards each
BP: 10 cards
SSP and STP: 8 cards each
SEC and GSP: 4 cards each
Special feature: Unlike other Disney series from this publisher, the tiers in this collection do not have a family name in the Card Fun database. Therefore, there are no named sub-series to announce.

Cards to look for
The 4 GSP cards are the most easily understood chase series: one character each, in a Polaroid-style frame — Mickey (MM01-GSP01), Minnie (GSP02), Donald (GSP03), Daisy (GSP04).

The 4 SEC cards form the shortest tier in terms of numbers. The 8 STP cards are designed with a gilded stained-glass effect.

How to spot a special card
Each booster pack contains 4 cards, except for the one with a special card: it only contains 3. A thinner booster pack in the box therefore indicates a larger print run.
