The Alabasta Arc
This arc concludes the first major arc of One Piece. The Straw Hat crew infiltrates Baroque Works, the criminal organization led by Crocodile under the codename Mr. 0, to prevent a coup in Vivi Nefertari's desert kingdom. This arc contains three moments that the series has never recreated: the first encounter with Portgas D. Ace, the Battle of Alubarna, and the final duel against Crocodile, the first opponent to defeat Luffy twice before being overpowered.
A cast we won't see again
Nico Robin appears here again under her alias Miss All Sunday, on the opposing side. Vivi is part of the crew. Tony Tony Chopper has just joined the group. Around them are Mr. 2 Bon Clay, Mr. 3, Smoker, Tashigi, Pell, and Chaka. Collections based on recent arcs can no longer feature this lineup.
