The Collector Booster represents the pinnacle of the line for each Magic: The Gathering expansion, and the Secrets of Strixhaven Collector Booster pack features several exclusives not found in any other product in the set.

Each Collector Booster contains 15 cards, including 5 rares or mythic rare cards and 3 to 4 Mystic Archive cards. Compared to the Play Booster, which guarantees only one Mystic Archive card, the density of Mystic Archive cards is three to four times greater. Of the 65 Mystic Archive cards, the versions included in Collector Boosters feature exclusive visual treatments unavailable elsewhere.
The Silver Scroll Foil treatment is the first major exclusive. This special finish, inspired by ancient manuscripts, appears only in Collector Boosters. The second exclusive is the alternative Japanese versions of the Mystic Archive cards: traditional Japanese artwork, a unique border, and text entirely in Japanese. These alternative Japanese versions are found in Collector Boosters in all languages, including French.

The third and rarest exclusive is the serialized double-faced card Emeritus of Ideation featuring Ancestral Recall. Limited to 500 copies worldwide, with a Double Rainbow Foil treatment and a full-art throwback border, it is illustrated by Mark Poole, the same artist who painted the original Ancestral Recall in 1993. This artistic continuity spanning over 30 years gives the card a unique historical dimension. Its appearance rate is less than 1%, and the card is always in English, even in French Collector Boosters.
